Longbourn Barn is the perfect location for a wedding reception on a hot summers day in England. If you want a DIY wedding in an absolutely stunning Warwickshire setting, this exclusive venue is on the top of my list. I was there for Lucy and Ben’s wedding in July and the whole set up was incredible overlooking beautiful English countryside. The barn was rustic yet stylish, definitely inspired by old French style buildings.
The Ceremony took place in the charming St Peters C of E Church in Kineton which is just a 4 minute drive from Longbourn Barn. The Ceremony was emotional the minute the string quartet began to play to the Bridal party walking down the aisle. Lucy chose Your Song by Elton John to be sang in the Ceremony and that moment was perfect. As they said their vows you could instantly see the connection Lucy and Ben share and the love they have for each other.
A Beetle took Lucy and Ben to their reception which tied in beautifully with the artistic theme of the day. After the fantastic speeches and Wedding Breakfast the reception went OFF! There is a field on the hill that you can access which provides the most spectacular sunset shots. The bride and groom started the party with a rehearsed first dance which was fantastic and got the whole crowd excited for the evening to come! Lucy and Ben didn’t stop there! They then pulled out It’s Raining men and Mr and Mrs Robinson on stage,, the crowd went wild!
